I have recently installed the Gecko Drives on my CNC retrofitted machine. I run Mach3 on 25KHz kernel speed. My Stepper Motor is: 200 steps 1.8 degree/step I have belt reduction: 3:1 Using ball screw : 5TPI As i understand the G203V run in microstepping Mode: 10 Microstep Now by calculations: Steps/Unit = 200 x 3 x 5 x 10 = 30000 steps/unit I put that value in Steps/Unit and put the Velocity= 100 but the velocity value came back to 70 each of the time? Is it the Kernel speed that let my machine speed limiting? Can't we run G203V with Low Microstepping?
