Gecko G540 Revision Number

Hello, how do I tell if my Gecko G540 has the latest revision. I bought one about 2 months ago brand new. Do these units have a serial number from which I can call gecko and check?

wow, you waited a whole 6 hours on a weekend to get pissy.

the revision should be on the break out board portion. you have to remove the cover to find it. if you bought recently i assume its revision 4 as thats been out for nearly a year.

read the instructions on geckodrive.com. they should have disassembly instructions. its just pops apart. no screws or the like.

Just look on the face--Where the motors plug in. If you see a slide switch there for charge pump, then you HAVE the very latest revision.

I am not saying this to be rude or flippant but if you can't figure out how to get the G540 apart, then you aren't the kind of person that should be taking it apart.

If you bought it new two months ago, it is probably the latest version. And it doesn't really matter, afaik they all work equally well.
