Ordered G203V- No response from Gecko

Is it not amazing that you are getting no response from a reputable company after ordering the product and having some unresolved shipment issues. I have ordered 4- G203V on 15th July,2010 through VISA Card and My bank transaction shows 623 US dollars....

I have visited the FEDEX tracking number and found no shipment status... I then sent many emails to gecko sales(at the rate of) geckodrive.com and the lady their but got no response...

I also PM'd a couple of days ago at cnczone to Mariss but i got no reply.. I then subscribe the Gecko yahoo group and posted their my problem.. Marcus replied that i have got some shipment related trouble and ask me to sent him private email.. I did but still i got no response from him..

I am in urgent need for those drives, i am really in perplexing situation.. why the shipment is not made?

I aim no bashing to Gecko personal, i respect them by heart.... but i have to post here to get information about the actual situation...May be someone from Gecko read this thread and solve my problem..

Typing this and i snatched away few more hairs from my almost bald head.. The managing director visit is tomorrow and i have nothing to show him.. just a power point presentation yesterday night i was thinking on the whole situation and regret on whatever is happening with my shipments..... Am i behaving as a satisfied customer, dealing first time with Gecko?...Should i be a satisfied customer?... I thought too many times before posting here.. i thought should i post this here or not.. What you guys think should i have to post here or not...

just a thought; but seeing that you are in Pakistan and there being a lot of cc fraud it may be gecko is waiting for payment to clear before shipping- there may also be a problem with export permit too. as a paying customer you do have every right to voice your concern dissatisfaction or praise for someone and or their product- that is the american way. perhaps you might find a reseller elsewhere and cancel the order from gecko if this is how they treat paying a customer.

also, never promise anyone something you cannot deliver when you depend on someone else to deliver to you first- now you are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I have been unlucky for the last couple of week.. I have blown away my DIY stepper drives that i was using for the last 3-months.. I don't know what was the problem.. After losting Six of those I ordered the reliable drives from Gecko..

I read a lot about G203V drives and i confess those are the drives i looking for.. I love Gecko drives because they are the best... I somehow tried to manage money to buy this and i have to show my conversion / Retrofit to forthcoming visit of my company Managing Director... I ordered on 15th july and i was expecting that i will get them by today.. But unfortunatly, i am unlucky..

I hope you get your drives soon. I know there are time zone issues but you might want to consider phoning them. Your email might have gotten caught in a spam filter or something of the sort. Also PM'ing someone here is not the most reliable way of getting a hold of them. I often don't notice that someone has sent me a PM.

I hope someone will also listen here.... Atleast when i contacted Marcus, he should given a response to me... My email address is with them.. If they just tell me what is the problem they are facing it will relive me from stress..

I need just a answer what is the problem with my Drives...

May be my emails are in spam... But I also check my Spam folder daily although i am not a business man... I PM'd Mariss.. may be he is very busy so he not look his PM folder.. One of my friend contact him through PM...and He always respond..

I am sure their is some big problem their.. They are very tightly busy so they are not responding me.. It is not weekend, i wish i could get a single word from them.. My email address is

You know it has really only been two business days as well. That is not a lot of time to answer emails, especially if they are busy. Marcus may also be researching the issue so that he can give you a resolution to the issue or ETA.
Pakistan is not right around the corner from California either. I am just about certain there may be Customs issues too.
A phone call would likely give you a faster result.

We had an error processing your order and we need some more information from you. Marissa from our office here emailed you on Thursday July 15 and never got a response. I emailed you this morning to both email addresses and had Marissa email you for good measure; I think you may have a SPAM filter set too high or have one that is catching our emails at the ISP level.

We do not have emails here that you say you sent; have you verified that you have the correct email addresses? The only message we have received from you is from the "Contact" form on our website which was on Thursday morning of last week. I have sent you a PM with all the information we need because our emails seem to be getting lost.

I'm not trying to single you out, but this type of post seems to happen here with some frequency.

Twenty+ years ago when I was writing email gateways, we stipulated that email was only for "non-critical" communication. Obviously, things have changed a lot since then, but I still feel strongly about that.

If the communication ACTUALLY MATTERS, pick up the phone. Don't send an email and then start bashing/criticizing a company based on a slow email response. There is no guarantee they ever got it. Just my 2 cents.

Hi Marcus,
I recieved Janice email on 15th July saying that my Credit is declining, I respond her the same day with following lines:

Okay, i have open my credit card for internet transaction 12 hours ago.. Kindly let me know .

After my this email within an Hour i got notification from the Bank that amount 622.7 dollars transactions has been taken place... This satisfied me ... Next day i checked the FEDEX tracking number and it shows no shipment status... On 19th July I sent another email to JANICE
Hi,
I have emailed to
"Janice Jarvis" <geckojan(at the rate of)geckodrive.com> /// Intentionally replaced "@" with "at the rate of"
but got no response. I have ordered 4Ea G203V and my bank account shows 623 US dollars transaction on 15th July,2010.
I have also got following tracking number from FEDEX
Tracking number: 798853546477

the above tracking till date no sign of action on my package. I just want to know what happen to my order?.. Kindly help me?

But I didnt got any response from Janice... I don't know what happen??.. My FedEx tracking Number also showed no shipment....

This perplexed me as my Managing Director Visit ahead and i have no drive at all ..

I sent PM to Mariss on cnczone and waited for response... Then i logged onto the Gecko Yahoogroup and Marcus responded me... I send him email but he not got!!

So as the record my email spam filter is at very low-end setting.. but may be your side some problem..Just check the Janice email may be she didn't see her Junk emails ...

Now tell me Marcus, If you were in my Place What should you have to do?

Now it is clear it is miscommunication... I am going to my bank right now, and see the record whether the actual transaction has been taken place or not?..
