curiosity more than anything, as my table seems to be running fine: i'm running two 6amp steppers via two Gecko 210's. they're each wired with 270k resistors ie, 6A. when i measure the current draw from the powersupply, its about 1 amp for each gecko.. even at top (table) speed. again, 6amp rated motors seem to be running fine. am i missing something? or does this imply that i could've built this table with 2amp rated steppers (ie cheaper)? -anthony |
