I have configured the G540 to convert PWM from MAch3 to a variable voltage, driven through pins 7, 8 and 9. For some reason I have 0.1Vdc always present on Vi (referenced to ground) when the PWM signal is 0. My initial investigation showed that the input voltage being supplied by my spindle was at 10.1Vdc, so I placed a 47 Ohm resistor and reduced the input voltage to exactly 10 Vdc as required by the Gecko installation guidelines. I am stumped as to why I am geeting this 0.1Vdc and need help with ideas of where this is coming from. This voltage is present when pin 8 is connected or disconnected from my spindles Vi input /Michael |
