Hi, I would find some answers for a few ground wiring dudes. (I made a diagram for us) B1: Metal Geckodrive case must be isolated from "electronic metal case" wich is connected to ground (earth) by A3? (see diagram) C2: The shield cable must be connected to negative pole from steppers 60V power supply ? D1: 1) My stepper motor has a screw with simbol like "earth ground", where is suposed to wire it?? to A2 o B5??? 2) What happen if a discharge happen between the spindle case ( in contact with the iron mill structure) and stepper motor case? Regards!! (Sorry for my inglish!!) Tiwanacote |

| tiwanacote, It's not complicated. Screw the G540 down to your control cabinet. Connect your power supply to the G540. Take one wire from your power supply GND and connect it to your control cabinet chassis. Take all of your cable shields to your power supply GND. Take a wire from your motor case back to power supply GND. That's it. It's that easy. Mariss |

| On a side note, if the AC supply has a grounded neutral you normally should not fuse the neutral side, i.e. only one fuse in the 'Hot', not in both. Al.
