Default Hopefully a dumb question anot bnot wiring

I have searched and searched for info regarding the anot and bnot connection and where to put them with my G320X and have not found an answer so hopefully I can get some guidance here. I am retrofitting a CNC machine where the encoders have the following wires:
    5v 0v
    A Anot
    B Bnot
    Z Znot

5V, 0V, A and B are easy enough to figure out where they go and I think I can omit the Z and Znot signals. I am not sure what to do with the Anot and Bnot wires. When I have the G320X wired with the 5V, 0V, A and B wires I get a constant fault light on the drive which indicates a wiring problem. I remove the A and B wires and I can get the reset process to work. I am guessing the drive is seeing a wiring fault due to Anot and Bnot not being wired to anything. My best guess is the not signals go to terminal 12 however I am not sure and don't want to smoke a drive. Please help.

    Thanks

Those are differential outputs for the A and B signals and have no connection to the Gecko drive.
Simply ignore them and things will work fine.

I wonder why I am getting a non-reset-able fault at the drive. I have verified wiring to A and B and it's all good. I get to step 3 and am stuck with setting up the drives. As soon as I remove the A and B signal wires I can reset the fault.

Going strictly from memory here, but you might try reversing the servo power wires. Not the wires from the power supply.

    That would be bad.

I tried to reverse the +5V and it's ground and the drive would not power. I have an E-mail in to Gecko and am waiting for a response.

Not the logic voltage, but the Arm+ and Arm- terminals. I think that terminals 3 and 4.

I haven't got that far according to the setup so I have not applied power to the armature.

I'm not sure so hopefully Gecko will get back to you soon.
