I have been trying to find my system problems .The question I have is can I connect the 320 x servo drive to a power supply . connect a motor and encoder to the drive . Apply power to the drive & encoder and have motor lock up . I do not want to connect the drive to step and direction . Will applying power to the drive enable it with error reset jumper .? At this point will I be able to turn the motor ?. I have done this and my motor spins freely turning it by hand.
