I bought a used computer at a garage sell and it has the windows 98 version of G-Zero.
Not a problem using it except I have no clue as to how you import cad drawings.
Any Ideas?
Thanks for any and all replies.

it's primarily a conversational type cam system and programming from a cad-file is not its strong suit. I don't think the earliest versions have capabilities of importing a cad file. You can use dxf files to for tool paths but it needs to be scaled and good clean geometry. You should be able to go to Tools > Cad to open a .dxf file. If it's an early version...you may not have that option.
unless they have changed your copy will fault out and need acode to reactivate it from g-zero. Usually yearly or ever 2 years this protects the liscensed owner in case it is stolen. Not sure if there is pirated copies running around
BE NICE TO THE NERDS IN SCHOOL. THEY ONE DAY MAY BE YOUR BOSS
Does anyone have any idea where I can get this program now? The download link for the Lathe version on their site seems to be dead.
g-zero.com
I downloaded the student version a few minutes ago and it seems to work. You'll need to pay for the full version to get code out of it.
How about some modern modifications of g-zero for the current OS?
Need it or something close by its functions.
Would be very grateful for the answer!
