are you going to use Mach 3? I'd head to www.machsupport.com and down load their free trial software.. it connect's via ethernet not USB.

I just got the GREX I got on eBay in the mail and am trying to connect. I've got drivers installed alright I think. I used USB, and have to the point that I can go to Start>Connect to>GREX
I am actually currently connected, at 19.2kbps
So, where do I go from here? I tried running Grex-Loader, but I can't seem to get it to find the Grex. Under the Grex connection, I get two IP's:
Server IP address: 198.168.0.2
Client IP address: 198.168.0.1
Since this is all USB, can I not sure my ethernet to load the firmware? I am not sure where to go from here![]()

The more I know... the more I realize I don't

Hey phantom.Did you figure it out? If you contacted art or mariss(sp?) I'm sure it's setup by now. They're really good like that.
If you need help I'll try and refresh my memory on how I did all of that crap. I feel your pain.
Heh, actually I'm all set, thanks. Basically, I decided that since I was able to hit nearly 400IPM with the parallel port and Mach 3, and I didn't have time to fuss around with the GREX, I sold it on eBay. I know I probably could have given it a better chance, but I got an oscilloscope for my final project with the money instead. Time to focus on school![]()
Awesome. Any pics of your setup? I didn't know you had started your conversion. How's everything going?
Sounds like you might be an EE student. I am. I need a new scope.![]()
