Hi, I plan to use mach4 and gecko to drive my Allen Bradley servo drive and motor. I just need to know if there is any lack of accuracy when you boost the speed the step pulse frequency of the gecko. My motors can turn at something like 3000RPM with 1500lines encoder, so I don't know if a gecko will be able to drive them a full speed with precision. Does the gecko will be able to drive them at full speed and be accurate ( witch precision )? |

| First, Mach4 no longer exists. Support for the G100 will be via a plugin for Mach3. As for your question, I'd email Art and ask him. Unfortunately, he just left for vacation and will be gone for 2 weeks. You might want to try asking in the Mach Support forum at www.machsupport.com

| There is no loss in accuracy. If you command 'x' number of steps, then 'x' number of steps will be issued. It makes no difference if they are generated at 1 per second or 4 million per second. Mariss |
