IF CUTTERS ARE THE FOLLOWING SIZES, WHAT NUMBERS DO WE ENTER INTO THE OFFSET REGISTER FOR COMPANSATION PURPOSES?
A.1/2 INCH 2 FLUTE ENDMILL
B.7/8 INCH 4 FLUTE ENDMILL
C.5/16 COBALT DRILL
D.4 3/4 INCH 6 TEETH FACE MILL
E.3/16 2 FLUTE ENDMILL
F. 3/8-16 SPIRAL FLUTE TAP

In the offset page it should specify radius. I have never seen one specify diameter. I ass u me you are on the 21i control? So they should be entered in based on the radius of the tool.

Tool A=.25
Tool B=.4375
Tool C=0 (this is a drill no need to compensate for diameter)
Tool D=2.375
Tool E=.0938
Tool F=0 (this is a tap and needs no compensation)

This only needs to be entered if you are going to be using cutter comp in your program or if you are gathering the radius of them via macro and system variables then calculating the compensation.
