G Code explained for the complete idiot!

I have to say this Forum has been the driving force for me to finish my DIY CNC. It's finished and running and it's great. 2' x 5' table. All aluminum frame with Keling compoints. I ran the Road Runner file which comes with Mach 3 and it went great!! So now that the machine is all set up and tuned and all limits and soft limits are set I need to learn how to take a 3D cad drawing and generate a G-code file. I figured I could just muddle thru it but I'm a G-Code idiot! I'm using Gsimple which is a free download. Could someone please explain in DETAIL the steps of importing a saved dxf drawing from turboCad into Gsimple and creating a usable G-code file which I can use in Mach 3.
If this has allready been done where is this tuturioal which I can review. I have gone thru the Gsimple user manual and it's more confusing than helpful. I can create my drawing in turbo and save as DXF so I have half the battle won. PLEASE help out a Newbie before I kill myself.

this wont help with g simple but it may be of some help , click on the code and it will show you an animated example

Derstap. Thanks for the link that is pretty cool. That's the best I've seen so far on G-code examples. Really good for newbies.
