| Need help! Machine: Mitsui Seiki - 6 CNII When I try to use macro variables: #1=1.0; machine stop and show this alarm with message: - INVALID BREAK POINT OF WORDS. I think this is an error from sintax but is first time when I have this problem. For all other machines I did not had this problem till now. For more details ask please. | I am not familier with your actual machine, but I assume the machine has macro programing ability? A long shot, did you try #1=(1.0); I am sure you made sure that it is a zero 0 and not O. Al

I tested your recomandation but without good results. On the machine panel I have key for macro "#". On the manual they say anything about how to use macro, but they mnetion into a tabel about it. What to check more? The part for what I wanted to use macro I allready machined by using G10 modifing the offset for tool diameter, but in the future is posible to have not any solution without macro. For this reason I insist to find how to use macro. |

| Go through your control Settings menus to see if the local variables are turned on and Macro B option is active. There will be a listing of all the addresses of the variables. I don't think local variables (#1-#33) can be addressed that way. Try: #100 = 1 #1 - #33 Local variables - Cleared on reset, M30, and power off. #100 - #199 Common Variables - Cleared on power off. #500 - #549 Common Variables - Stay in control after power on/off Here is a good source of information on Macro programming on CNC's http://www.programmingunlimited.com/ http://www.cncci.com/resources/param...rogramming.htm Last edited by WayneHill; 04-10-2005 at 10:10 AM. |

| Have you tried Matsui Seiki support? they look like they have quite a support base. What model control is fitted to it? some were fitted with Fanuc controls and in that case the macro option had to be purchased from Fanuc, if it did not come with it from factory. Al

| I already sent a email to Mitsui Seiki Co. I am still waiting for a replay. Today I was looking for all setting (parameters and other windows to find something about macros), but I did not find it. Actually I should say that I do not know exactly were to look, so please be more specific. The Fanuc is 15 M series. I already tried also for #100 but same alarm occur. Thank you. |

| Can you at least see the Custom macro Variable display screen? If not maybe MacroB is not in the control. Also did you use G65 to call macro program? Al

| I can't see macro screen. I looked in the OFFSET menu. Today I tried G65 command and alarm PS-010 (improper G-code) occur. When I push HELP for G65 machine say that do not know G65. I asked to the Maintenance Dept. but also they don't know about macro module or something like that. If this is an option which should be purchased can you give me some details to explain at maintenance team. |

| Sory for may late answer, but I had holiday and I had to recover may duties. I could not modify this parameter. I received "LOCKED PARAMETER" message. The parameter #9111 = 0001000. In documentation is shown just bit#0 to be used. I tried to modify BIT#0 but, maybe or surely, I do not know how. I made all bits from #8000 to be 1, but when I turned off and on again it change to 0, even if I pushed "EMERGENCY BUTON". But to other machines #8000 remain 1. Any ideea? |
