Help! Something is horribly wrong!

Hello everyone, i am extremely new to cnc and machining in general, i am learning bobcad at the moment and i told it to machine a 2 inch square with a 1 inch square in the middle. To test this on the machine i chucked up a marker into the mill with a piece of paper and had it draw. The picture below is a scanned image of what it drew on the paper. The black spot is where the marker sat and pooled ink, not caused by the software.
Here is a screenshot of what it looked like in bobcad
Finally, here is the G-code that bobcad output:

M3
G00 Z0.05
X1. Y1.
G01 Z0. F5
Y-1. F10
X-1.
Y1.
X1.
G00 Z0.05
X0.5 Y-0.5
G01 Z0. F5
X-0.5 F10
Y0.5
X0.5
Y-0.5
G00 Z0.05
M5

My question is, is the g-code incorrect for the drawing in bobcad, or is my controlling software working incorrectly (Mach2). Thank you all in advance, and i apologize now for the stupid question.

Code looks good in Mach3. Must be your machine setup.

Add a G90 to the line below the M3 to set the control to Absolute and see if that cures it..

Looks like your control is running in Incremental mode and the code is for Absolute.

Buy me a Beer?

Your right, I ran it through my simulator and it reproduces the problem if a G91 is given, G90 it's OK.

Under Config>State, check absolute for Distance Mode.

Thanks for the help ger21. Its very strange, i went into the config as you suggested and absolute mode was already set for distance, but then i noticed that the initialization string was set to G80, so i put G80 in my code in the line after M3 and surprisingly enough it worked perfectly for the first time! However, when i tried it a second time without changing anything it went right back to the original problem. I have been trying for an hour to get it to work correctly and it refuses to.

OUCH.. I hate it when it works right, then doesnt... This happens to me sometimes.

Almost every time its because I forgot to save my work to file...

At the top of the screen, there should be a bunch of codes while it's running. Do you see a G91 there?
