| Hello, I am experimenting with a device that no one at our shop has ever used before. I'm not sure exactly what it is called but I believe it is an Aggregate head, or a side boring/ drill bank device. Oh and the machine is a Northwood CNC router (Actually is an AXXIS N255 built bu Northwood)BTW. I can drop the device using M61;M90 and and turn it on using M63(all 6 tools turn together in unison) but it appears from the 6 air lines going in and the 6 air lines going out(not to mention that you would be plunging with as many as 4 drills at the same) that each of the tools holders on it can drop or extend independently. But for this I have no reference codes. The manuals that I have for the machine only tell you how to lower the device and turn it on. Does anyone have a suggestion on what the M codes might be?? |

Here it is in case anyone cares to know. Any combination of drills may then be extended by programming #1133 = N where N is the sum of all the required drill values. Each drill value can be obtained by cross referencing the drill number in the following table: drill number drill value 1 1 2 2 3 4 4 8 5 16 6 32 7 64 8 128 9 256 10 512 11 1024 12 2048 Drill to the desired depth by feeding the vertical axis in and out of the work piece. Retract the drills by programming #1133 = 0 |
