Not sure where th post this but, I have a DXF that I converted to gcode using "DFX2GCODE". Worked fine but when opening it in EMC2 it is wider then it is tall or in other words, it is to long in the Y axis. X is fine and the longest axis on my machine. How can I turn this so the long way lies in the X axis? Thanks Carl |

| Simplest is to open the DXF file in a CAD system and rotate the entities 90° and re-save to a new DXF file and run again through "DXF2GCODE" or Open the NCfile with a text editor and insert a rotate command ( check your manuals for correct G-code and syntax ) at or near the top of the program. Don't forget to cancel the G-code at the end of the file If you are using multiple tools, rotation may need to be cancelled when toolchanging |
