For the longest time, we've been using an Amada Turret Pega 345K with a Fanuc 6M controller. To create new programs, preview them, and COM port transfer them to the Fanuc, we've been using an old DOS based program called "New Dawn Systems Part Preview" This works fine, but moving them from the office where programs are typed out to the machine by the Fanuc involved floppy disks, and I keep dealing with corrupt files, floppy drive failures, and things of that nature. I'd really like to get into something windows based, so we could easily use a USB flash drive or even wireless networking to transfer stuff out to the fanuc. I tried Punchsim, but there were function of the Amada that we used regularly that the Punchsim program wouldn't do. Any suggestions on solutions? My first instinct was to use a DOS emulator, but I never could find one that would run the NDS program.

| You could look at Cadem, you can hook up multi machines from a main unattended PC, and Upload/download both ways. Although, if you want to still use a DOS program, you either need Win98 on the host, or maybe use that on another networked PC. Al.
