| Does the drawing have blocks in it? And are you saving as v12 .dxf?

| What program are you saving from? Can you post a sample that's giving you problems?

| Try moving everything left toward the origin. The drawing has everything starting at about X 36. When saving, choose v12, it's the last option in the drop down list of file types.

| I didn't realize it was in mm, so never mind the moving part. Does it work OK with the v12?

| Hello brother, I know a little about 3D Design Softwares and AutoCAD. AutoCAD is not really 3D Software. So, you cann't see AutoCAD 3D Drawing in really 3D softwares, but you can see only 2D Drawing because AutoCAD is not really 3D software. 3D design softwares are SolidWorks, Autodesk Invector, Pro-E, Uni,........ Nevermind, you can see AutoCAD drawing in your cam bam but you have to make a little steps. Firstly, you have to save your drawing in AutoCAD by dxf format. And then you have to change from dxf format to IGES format in Invector, MasterCam,..... (I usually change from dxf format to IGES format in MasterCAM.) Finally, you can open IGES format drawing in your cam bam software. I think CAM BAM may be read IGES format. Thank you |
