Helical cutting

I would like to make a hole 100 mm with 250 mm depth on 18M control. It is possible to do that by using helical method? (tool dia 60 mm)
I tried..
N001 G1 Z0 X20. Y0 F600
N002 G3 G17 X20. Y0 Z-250. K1.25 I0 J0 F200
N003 G1 X0 Y0
N004 G0 Z50.

It shown alarm ILLEGAL PLANT AXIS COMMAND

Please suggest what I did wrong. I already change parameter #9930 as 1100111
Thanks in advance
Maxz

I would question the arc center coordinates. If the arc centers are incremental, then I0J0 could not be correct for a 50mm radius.

If the arc centers are in absolute coordinates (on the Cinci) and the hole is centered on X0Y0, it could work.

Did you do this from the solid? What style of facemill? 50 taper spindle? (That's a long hangout for a 40 taper)

I used 66 mm diameter with round insert. I have drill dia 40 mm at the center before helical cutting. I extend the holder with 60 mm capto (total length 290 mm)
My OKK machine is BT50 taper. I changed the depth (from 1.25) to 0.7 mm only. Spindle 1200 rpm with 800 table feed. Workpiece is S45C material.

That sounds like quite a rigid machine. So you are running 357 laps with .7mm lead? Is it just too loud/harsh sounding with 1.25mm lead? With 66mm cutter, your cutting path radius is 17mm, right? I calculate 106.76mm per revolution, so you would be running 7.5 laps per minute and 357 laps would take 48 minutes. Long time, but to have a 100mm hole 250mm long in medium carbon steel 48 minutes later would be nice.
