Post Can someone test this one?

Can someone test my G-code?

I've tried it on my machine but halfway's it goes back to the place he already engraved...

I can't find the error, maybe you can.

Thanks!

I ran this through my simulation program . I had to change the G00 in line 3 to G01 and it ran OK.
All I saw was some strange straight line milling at the beginning and end of the program.

Buy me a Beer?

I ran it through MicroTech simulator and it ran ok. What block did it act up for you?

When I use G01 with mach 2 it runs very, very slow.
Can't manage to let it work better(can't even control feedrate), that's why I tried G00 becouse that's faster.

I've written my own program to create this code from a picture, The picture you've included looks ok except for the strange lines...

Thanks

It runs slow because you have the feed speed set to 300. Try G01 F5000 and it will move pretty quickly.

Look at your code, those strange lines are in there, right at the beginning and end of the program.

Good luck

Thats the one

G0 F300
The F300 doesn't do anything.

The G0 says go as fast as it can go.. You should never be able to actually do work with a G0 command it is just for moving to a new location or returning home.

G1 F300 means to move at a controlled speed. 300 inches per minute

G1 F500 would be faster.

Ect

However if you have your program set up right the 300 means inches per minute if you are using inches. That is a very fast feed rate for most systems..

As you try to go faster you are much more likely to lose steps. Asuming this is a stepper based system.

Again G0 is defined as Rapid Positioning Command ( no cutting) per the
CNC Pro Documention..

Becouse of problems with the software I couldnt even set the feedrate with G01.

This is fixed and the system is perfectly running again!

My settings are in metric, so 300 millimeter per minute. Not very fast but need this for engraving.

You shoud have: G1 Fxxx. every time you feed into the job, and, G0 every time you rapid out of the job. You don't use feed with G0.
