My book The Journeymans Guide to CNC Machines has some quick referece charts for both G and M codes; there is a generic code 1-99 then Fanuc and Siemens codes allocated against the generic, then spaces for additional controls. Even controls from the same manucfacturer has different codes for the same operation and then the OEM for the machine chooses some M codes. If you start here you can build your own reference. The Guide is available world wide (Amazon etc.) it is published by www.lulu.com/bryanhurst who sell on line for about atenner (£10 / $18)
