I remember seeing a tutorial/ g code for a puzzle block where you cut out a circle on one side, square on one side, heart on one side, triangle etc.... once you machine all sides then the part in the middle is free floating. Anybody know where I saw it? Thanks for your time. |

| There was a class in high school where they made those on a sherline mill I know the code they used was kinda crappy, nothing special wouldnt be hard at all to program. just go down deep enough so that each side intersects. so it breaks free, and on the last side, probably take a small breakthrough pass or leave tabs to mill or cut off so it doesnt wreck stuff. I know some of the kids put paper on the edges or something with some thickness to put more pressure on that peice so it diddnt pop out and ride up the end mill. Jon |
