I made my drawing on Delta cad, saved as a DFX file. Loaded it into Lazycam and turned it into a Gcode file, then transferred it into Mach3. The Gcode is given a bunch of Z values which are unnecessary (i deleted then in microsoft notpad) but how do i keep these from reappearing? Also say i made a square shaped object. I want it to be cut out in a rotational pastern, not just random lines at a time, how do I fix this as well? THANKS |

| Check in DeltaCAD, the DXF file and Lazycam to find out which one turns 1 line into smaller lines Your g-code output is picking up the start and endpoints of these lines If the lazyCAM has the 1 single line, then the problem is between LazyCAM and the g-code ( a setting in lazyCAM or the post ) As for your next question, I'll re-phrase it to, "I want to turn a square, can I ?" The answer is No |

| Sorry, i am not being very clear with my questions, my second question was how to make Mach3 or the gcode start from one point of an object and work its way around clockwise or conterclockwise to the the end of the object. Istead of cutting one part here, then another there... |

| Still a little vague about what you are trying to do. BTW, I'm not a Mach3 person The entities you select to turn, how are you selecting them ? Most CADCAM systems "chain" the entities so they sequence after one another, or pick them in the order you want them machined. It sounds as if you "window select" the entities and LazyCAM orders them according to when they were created, is this possible ? |

| You'll probably get more replies from LazyCAM users on the Mach Support forum at www.machsupport.com
