Well, I've tried to download RasterFratz. I got a screen saying I have to register. I did it and was told I'll get an email saying how to download the demo. A few minutes later I had an email from... (drum roll please) KenTechInc.com for their Kipware programs. No RasterFratz. What the f@#k is going on? Is this some kind of spam? Will my email box be flooded with spam from now on?

Sheesh, I hate it when I'm beenig dooped like this.

TigerPilot, there were no Rasterfratz requests from the Dominican Republic yesterday. I suggest you try again as the response is automatic, IF you provide a valid e-mail address. We don't spam.

I know that the response was automatic, that's why I was dumbfounded when I received and automated response from the other company. How the heck do they knew I wrote you or was it just a pure coincidence that they wrote me a minute after I registerd. And I did register, I'm sure of it but I will try it again.

I tried to register again and this time it worked. It did come to the Spam folder that Yahoo provides, though. I downloaded it and will check it out.

Still curious of what happend yesterday. Is big brother watching?

Believe me if it was not a coincidence, we would be a LOT more concerned than you. ;-)

I tried it and it worked as I hoped it would. I did use only a black and white bitmap, PCB boards, so I can't say how it will perform on color pictures.
One thing does ennoys me, and it does in a few other programs as well. It doesn't remember directories and defaults to the RasterFratz directory if you try to save, even if you opened the bitmap not in RasterFratz. The result is that I'm looking for the place to put it every time I'm trying to save. Interstingly, when you open a bitmap and then open an other one it will remember the previous directory.
