Hi, I've been running Mach3 Mill using g-code generated with Catia V5 via a fanuc_16_mill3 post. Everything has been running well, until i tried to using circular interpolation along the XZ plane (G18). The chosen arc are the wrong ones. They do the other part of the circle. I tried everything, including changing G03 into G02 and vice versa. The direction would then change, but it would give me full circles instead of short arcs. I solved the problem by rotating my assembly such that the interpolation occurs on the YZ plane. Why did this solve it? Aren't the x and y axes symmetric with z? Any clue what i should do to fix it in the XZ plane? Any tips appreciated! Thanks aleks. Here is the part of the code: FOR XZ Plane: (this doesn't work!)
