That's the single reason some of my customers don't allow form taps. Lockheed Martin, for example, puts a note on their prints specifying "Do not use roll taps". It's irrelivent if done correctly, and gives stronger threads. But you know engine ears. BTW, I've got a tap drill calculator that computes roll taps by thread engagement or hole size. Let me know if interested.
