| I've never seen a group of machinists agree on the exact numbers to use on NPT single point threading. There was a discussion a few months ago about this topic and there seems to be an agreement that you should pick a standard set of numbers for your shop and stick with them. Really, as long as the angle is right and the gage fits, it is up to you. |
