I am using Mach 3 with a Tormach machine and probe to measure specific part dimensions at about 100 points. I have written a simple probing program that meets my specific needs using G31 and M0 to pause at the appropriate points so that I can manually enter DRO values into a spread sheet before importing them into Rhino as a point cloud. This has worked well, but I would like to know how to write the code so that the program will write to a file without the need for manual data entry. I suspect that there is a simple solution, but as a Newbie I would greatly appreciate some advice. Cheers, Dave Harrison |
