Hi All, I need some info on programming a G02/G03 arc command on a GE 1050HLX control. Specifically, I need to know how the arc center I / J / K is specified. If anybody could help me with this, I'd be grateful. Thanks, Scott |

| I run a 1050HLB about 24 years ago but I can't remember much about it. I do remember that one of the punches was sticky and and I often had to cut that hole out by hand to get the tape to load back in. Looked in my oldest notebooks and did find a hand written program but not a G2/3 in it. |

| Not other then the used machine dealers and ebay. Or maybe, I got my training on that control at the LeBlond Makino plant, for a 19" Tape Turn Regal lathe, the instructor was old guy (at the time) first name Gordon. He was head of the team that made the control system for that lathe, chances are he is not around anymore. I do remember one of the things he was most proud of was the variable pitch threading cycle, he said they did that for a customer who wanted to make a sliding sidewalk type of thing that would accelerate at the start and decelerate at the end. Wikipedia says LeBlond Makino became Makino in 1996 and in 97 formed LeBlond Lathe Ltd. for parts and service. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Makino http://www.leblondusa.com/ They can maybe help you out. I did find this. http://newsgroups.derkeiler.com/Arch.../msg01460.html |
