I'M NEW TO THIS EXCITING WEBSITE.
I'M LOOKING FOR A SAMPLE PROGRAM FOR HORIZONTAL MACHINE. I WANT TO SEE HOW THE PROGRAM IN HORIZONTAL LAYOUT IN G CODE. I BEEN WORKING WITH MAZAK CONVERSATION LANGUE. HOW TO RUN 4 SIDE OF THE TOMBSTONE AND MACHINE 3 SIDE PER FACE/SIDE. HOW IS WORK-OFFSET WORK? MY COMPANY JUST BOUGHT A USED MORI SEIKI SH-40 AND MH-40. SO I NEED TO PROGRAM FOR THOSE MACHINE. NEED HELP!

You got a pic of your machine?

If it's a used machine, there should be some programs in the memory. I'd start there.

.... Unless the last shop wiped them.... but a good place to look none the less.

Have you programmed any mill in G code? Vertical included? How much do you know about G code?

I'm for vacation for last 2 weeks. I just hang in there with the problem. I can make it run, but the program I make in G code is long and seen like it more complicate than other.
