Trying to figure out a simple issue with my WinCNC controlled plasma table to get it up and running. I need to get the dwell time set so the system pauses while the plasma is piercing. I haven't figrured this out yet. According to the manual I should have a line of code in the Wincnc.InI notepad for code G4 and the time values for Y and X ie;G4 X#Y#. Question is do I just type in this line of code following a line that fires the plasma? For somebody that does fabricating and not programming, the manual isn't very clear. |

| In fanuc code I believe it would look like below. x-.500 y1.5 (xy location of piercing your code to turn on the plasma on this line. G4 x 3.0 (dwell for three seconds). Hope this helps your machine may have other information needed also. but try that and see if it helps.
