They have changed their web address it is now http://www.cncsimulator.com/
I think it is because of the raft of MicroTech sites.

try NCPlot free

Try NCPlot free. I think it is WAY better than CNCSimulator.

What are the particular features you find better? There appears to be quite a few that Simulator has that NCPlot lacks?
Like the 3 view windows and the step through and feedrate speed for a couple?

Hi,

CNCSimulator was hard for me to set up and never did show the detail I would have liked. There is virtually no support AFAIK. NCPlot free let me see what the end result of my toolpath would be. That is what I really wanted to know. The full NCPlot does almost everything CNCSimulator does, but it is not free of course. I particularly love the ability to click on geometry (full version) and immediately see the GCODE that produced that geometry. This was useful enough for me to buy the full NCPlot recently when it was on sale.

Vega Bill is on a distinguished road

Hi all, you might want to try the Vega DATA-View utility also. There is a FREE demo at www.vegacnc.com. It also has a data-optimization feature to improve throughput of the CNC by imbedding acceleration/deceleration feedrates into the CNC file to reduce banging, slamming, and jerking. This allows higher programmed feedrates without over-shooting and gouging.

Any feedback would be appreciated

I did a search of www.cncsimulator.com for "macro" and did not find anything.
If it does not know what to do with a WHILE loop it does me little good.

Andre' B,

You want Verification software the reads macros? Then go buy VERICUT and have your $20,000 ready.
