LATHE GCODE

Could someone loan me a Gcode for turning. I want something I can load into Mach3 Turn just to play with it a bit. I'm not going to actually cut. I just wanted to play with the software before the lathe is done. Thanks Evan

jhowelb is an unknown quantity at this point

Run Mach# Turn and use the wizards on the screen. There is all the gcode you could want.
O.D., I.D., convex, concave, grooves or threads!!!

Actually I'd like a good simulator to check programs as well. I left a shop that had graphics for all their machines so I could check the programs before the run and ended up in a shop that has no graphics for the machines.

I had a G2 and G3 misplaced and made a bad part. I could have avioded this if I had graphics or a simulator of some sort.

Seems like a backwards G02/G03 would throw an alarm since your endpoints would be off by at least the radius amount. Look at predator's software. Just google 'Predator editor'

In some canned cycles you will get an error for nonmonotonic direction on an axis but for a simple tool path swapping G2 and G3 you just go the other direction around the circle.
