On every machine I've seen around here, the G-code for rotation is M03. (or M04 for reverse rotation)

Sorry, I should have also noted that G96 is constant surface foot, and G97 is constant RPM. So the code would look like this:

    G96 S650 M03

to turn at 650 SFM, and

    G97 S650 M03

    to turn at 650 RPM.

A question is never stupid until you ask it more than 7 times. Good luck!

Do you mean spindle rotation, or coordinate rotation? What's a Rover336? What control?

A Rover 336 is a router..... Well, a multiple spindle machine anyway.... and a big one too ...

What rotation are you talking about? Magazine? Aggregate spindle? spindle angle? Spindle "on" should be M3/M4 ,... 4 th axis should be "A" with a M11/M10... be more specific please......And depending on the year, the control will be a few different choices so the code may be slightly different.
It's just a part..... cutter still goes round and round....
