I'm at that stage. I have a good running machine and I can make code for simple stuff by painfully and slowly measuring a drawing and determining x and y coordinates that tell my machine how to cut anything I have the patience to make a code for. Is there a favorite free or low-dollar program for taking my line drawings (such as a guitar body) and convert it to g-code? My SketchUp will convert it to DXF. I just need something to go from DXF to G. I know there are lots of them out there. But I figure there's probably one that more people like than others in the same way people like Mach. Thanks. |

| The demonstration version of SuperCamXp will export G&M codes with the EXPTCNC Command at the bottom of the sidebar menu. http://www.super-tech.com/root/grp.a...uperCamXp-Demo You can create code for single pass or multi pass to final cut depth. With the USB CamPod and SuperCamXp the machine will follow the DXF drawing lines without the need of G-Code Files. Dennis http://www.super-tech.com |
