T - parameter in Siemens contr.

Hi!!

;0100
(T1 - 1.5mm Ball)
S1000M3
G0G90X.203Y-6.708T2
M22
G0A337.G43Z.55H1
M21
.
.
.

Part of the subprogram above contains two parameters T and H, H is a tool offset amount specified to be added to or subtracted from the Z-axis position (G43). I don't know what is T2...tool is stored under #1, I call it in the main program by T1M6. Machine Matsuura ES-1000V, controller Yaskawa Siemens G-tech 840Dl...Thank You for any clue

Maximusek,

When you call a T value by itself (without an M6) it should move that tool number to the change position and bring the tool pocket to the change arm. This just decreases the time it takes to do a tool change by having the magazine rotate during the maching cycle.

No Problem,

I have a Mat here with a 840 DI control. It is a H Plus 405 but I'm sure the controls are very similar so fire your questions away....
