| Taking a wild guess, if you actually try to transmit that file with the semicolons, you may get an error due to that. It seems to me that the control interprets "carriage return", "line feed" as the EOB (end of block character) and then inserts the semicolon itself. ODh OAh (hex characters) would be the standard end of line format from most common text editors. Those characters represent carriage return and line feed, a throwback to the days of the manual typewriter ![]() So strip the semicolons out of your file before tranmitting it and see if it goes in.

| Actually this software needed those semicolons to running the program. While I remove all the semicolon,it appeared more syntax errors. Then i search for the user manual of this software, the semicolon is represent the "End Of Block" as you had said. It is more complicated than I thought. When starting the program,i have to put an character 'O' as an header for trace the this program, then after the G-code i need to put in feed speed command line like f1500.In the end of the program i have to enter the % symbol to indicates the program end. It is not so user friendly futher more i m a newbie in the CNC field. The current software is compulsory in use for our company machine. So any suggestion software that can recommend to me to solve the 'semicolon' problem(like after changing to G-code,it will add the semicolon automatically)? |
