Try "The Journeyman's guide to CNC Machines" it is available from www.lulu.com/bryanhurst. OK it is my book but it gives practical examples covering GE Fanuc and Siemens, it costs less than £20.

Does you Book Cover Fanuc Milling, Turning, User Macros, APT Programming and Binanary Input?

The Journeyman's Guide to CNC Machines covers both Turning & Machining Centres and is based on my experience as a programmer and trainer. The guide explains the axis nomenclature then has examples for tuning and milling cycles both basic and advanced. The guide discusses macro programming with examples for the various levels it does not cover in depth macro programming. If you look-up the book on www.lulu.com there is a preview so you can pretty much see what you are buying.
