Hi,

Is there any G-code for custom using? i.e. I can define my own behaviour by that G-code. For example, I may use it to access the version of firmware on my controller or use it to set some motor control parameters.

You can use a G code to call a macro for a Fanuc control, the macro can be a complicated as you like I have used them for tool / attachment changing, probing or special machining routines.
