Hi guys,

I run a Hyundai-Kia SkT-250MS lathe.
Can I use Cylindrical interpolation to ingrave text on the O.D. of a piece of round stock? Reading the book I think you have to use Degree's of rotation for the C axis.

I think I can do it using the polar interpolation on the face of a part but I want to do it on the O.D.

How do I convert linear movements to degress of rotation???

Circumference/360 = degrees of rotation.
