| The answer is, yes. Not all controls are the same, when it comes to adding comments. I run Siemens control which is " ; ", I think Mach3 is " ( ) ". Siemens Control Example: X15.273 Y17.844 ; This is a comment ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mach3 Control Example: X15.273 Y17.844 ( This is a comment ) What Control are you working with? . |

| The open parenthesis '(' means control out and the close parenthesis ')' means control in. So in theory you can stick the comment in between word address codes. But I recommend that you place the comments at the end of the block or in a block by itself. [Fadals only need the '(' open parenthesis and must be at the end of the block] As a rule you must use both open and close in the block. [The Mark Century 2000, used the open and closed for parametric programming, and the code '(MSG,' for messages.]
