Newbie needs help!

I am entirely new to the CNC world of programming and language.

I just purchased an Emco compact 5 to make small stainless steel parts for motorcycles/scooters (hardware)

However, I have NO idea how to program it... or really even how to use it properly.

Can someone point me in the direction of some sort of online tutorial of the Absoulte basics, and is there any chance of somone providing me with step by step instructions on how to program in a simple partially threaded 7mm x1.25 pitch round headed bolt?

I don't know how much machining exper you have? But i found a free g code
simulator online. "AutoEditCnc" can help. A book called "7 easy steps to cnc"
another book by Smid is more advanced.
