You ask, Why, Why did we decide to go with the most current technology?
Well it's not we, I have to leave this one all to my boss.
He just loves the machines with all balls and no brains.
So this leads me to my question.
The company that we recieved these machines form have nothing but the basic books. I am able to desifer how to use the control, but not much more.
If any one out there could give me a list of the G-Codes, Code Description & Program Format.
Does this machine control accept any special cycles, canned cycles , or constant surface footage?
Also a description on how to set tool off-sets / work off-sets
I would greatly appreciate any and all help that is avalible
Thanks, |
Here is a link to some sample programing, We had a couple of Sheldons with AB7200 and the G-code for the most part was almost verbatum to our Fanucs. The M-codes were not though. An the program format is a bit difrent. OH and most importantly the reall blow chunks no matter what the control is I never liked the AB.s we had I think we had an 8000 seiries too and it was not much better. But hey if you get them cheap enough why hastle it hey
If I can dig up any of my old note I will send you what I can
