I just put together a tutorial on my blog for how to use your Mill CAM software to generate complex profiles so you can run G71 and similar lathe cycles against them if you don't have turning CAM. The link is here: G-Code Tutorial: G71 Rough Turning Cycle The process is pretty mechanical and just requires a few transformations most g-code editors can make. I used CNCCookbook's G-Wizard (natch). The tutorial is part of our overall G-Code Programming Tutorial: CNCCookbook's G-Code Tutorial and Course We start from this profile done in OneCNC for a mill:  And, after a few transformations, we wind up with this profile suitable for a lathe program:  Enjoy!
