I have to produce a sub routine which has to be all in incremental 91. I have uploaded a basic sketch of what I am trying to do.
I have a 25mm dia cutter, Start and End Points are 1 and 4. The arc is 35mm radius so I move from p1 to p2 applying cutter comp, interpolate from p2 to p3 then move from p3 to p4 taking off comp.
My mental blockage is this, what is the incremental X value of the linear moves, 1-2 and 3-4? Remember, I have to apply and take off cutter comp on these moves. Are they 35mm or 22.5mm?
So....
G01 G41 G91 X35. D01 F5000
G03 X-70. R35 F500
G01 G40 X35. F5000
OR
G01 G41 G91 X22.5 D01 F5000
G03 X-70. R35 F500
G01 G40 X22.5 F5000
Many thanks. |
It will be as in your first example.
