Question Is it possible?

I was wondering if it is possible to put some form of code in that would tell the machine to unsuck half the table when the gantry cleared the half way point. My machine at work is setup so that I can unsuck the half of the table that the gantry is not on, But if you try to unsuck it with the gantry is still over it, It will say "vacuum pressure low" and stops the machine in its tracks. Now the way we enter the code is something like this.
G0 X30
M131
I was wondering if it is possible to do something like, When x is less than or greater than(depending on which half of the table that needs to be unsucked) 49.0625(which is the half way point) then M131(or a gto command). Does anyone know if anything like this is possible? Any help is appreciated. Thanks-Robbie

I can not tell you how to do it on your own machine but that sounds like a very common CNC command..

You would have to loop the command to check it though..

Buy me a Beer?

Only if you're machine control had a code that supported it. You could have 2 seperate manually operated zones. With Mach2, I believe you can create your own Mcode macros that could possibly do what you want.
