Nakamura TW10 Fanuc 18T Trying to save set up time. Very low volume job. One of the operation require a .625 rough hole. I'll like to use a .5 dia. End mill already in the machine. How do I interpolate to make a .5 end mill cut a .625 diameter hole. This is how I'm planning on doing it: Z0.0 is face of material. After I engage C axis.... G and orientation codes... G0X.0625Z.1 G1Z-.250 C360.F15. or H360.F15. I'm trying to make C axis rotate 360 degrees to increase the hole diameter. Please advice if this is a good way to do this. Can I use X and Y axis like in a machine center instead??? G2 or G3 from the center of the hole?? Any input will be appreciate. Regards. Jorge. |
