looking for numbers to do a 30' angle

new to this site so thought id throw this out there any help would be great my lap top went down so trying this starting point is Z0 X2.285 30'ANGLE TO X2.541.. THANX FOR ALL HELP

When you are dealing with 30, 45 or 60 degrees it is almost mental arithmetic if you remember the ratios between the sides of the appropriate triangle, see the picture for the 30 - 60 - 90 triangle.

The 45 - 45 - 90 triangle is even easier, when the two short sides are 1 unit long the hypotenuse is 1.4142.

And I suppose I should correct my picture from 1.732 to 1.7321, rounded up from 1.7320508.
