| with fanuc 30i, will following work? ----------------------------------- G0 G54 G90 X0 Y0 A0 B0 M3 S840 G43.2 Z3. H1 Y-2. A-10. Z.5 GO1 Y-1. Z-1. F30. ( Y, Z ARE NOT TRUE, JUST PLACEHOLDERS) Y-2. Z.5 M04 G0 X0 Y0 A0 Z3. ------------------------------------ OF NOTE IS LACK OF G84.1 BUT G84.1 DOES A Z DOWNFEED SO I DON'T SEE HOW I COULD BE USED FOR A VECTORED HOLE. I DO SEE HOW IT COULD WORK BECAUSE IT REVERSES OUT ON SAME VECTOR. MY CONCERN IS PREPRATORY COMMANDS HANDLED BY G84. SUCH AS FEED SPEED OVERRIDE DISABLE, IPR(G95) VS IPM, MAYBE A G8 (DISABLE RAMPING) AND OF COURSE M04. FOR A SHORT WHILE I HAD A MASTERCAM X4 5-AXIS EVAL POST. IT HAD A G169 5-AXIS DRILL TAP CYCLE BUT THE POSTED CODE LOOKED AS ABOVE AND THE 30i MANUALS HAVE ONLY G84, (AND G63 OF WHICH I'M NOT FAMILIAR) AND I COULD FIND NO DESCRIPTION OF A 5-AXIS DRILL TAP CYCLE IN DOCS. IS THIS MY ONLY CHOICE AND IF SO HOW DO I HANDLE FEED SPEED OVERRIDE? THANKS |
